책소개
An influential voice in environmental economics over the past decade, Stavins (business and government, Harvard U.) here collects 23 papers on environmental economics and policy originally published in various scholarly publications from the late 1980s through the 1990s. After an overview, they cover benefits and costs of environmental regulations, the normative and positive analysis of policy instruments, environmental technology innovation and diffusion, causes and consequences of land-use changes, and global climate policy. In an introduction, he reflects on the professional path that led to his research and writing, and points out common themes. The articles are reproduced from their originals, in a variety of type styles. Annotation c. Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
