저자소개
크리스토퍼 스몰(지은이)
1927년 뉴질랜드 태생. 웰링턴 빅토리아 대학에서 동물학과 음악을 전공했고 교직 생활 후 영화음악, 무대음악 분야에서 작곡 활동을 했다. 정부 장학금으로 작곡가 레이니어를 사사한 후 71년부터 86년까지 런던 일링 대학에서 학생들을 가르쳤다. 이후 현직에서 은퇴하고 저술 활동을 하고 있다.
