앤드루 로빈슨(지은이)
영국에서 태어나 옥스퍼드대학교(화학 전공)와 런던대학교 동양 및 아프리카 연구대학(남아시아 지역 연구)에서 학위를 받았다. 케임브리지대학교 울프슨 칼리지의 방문연구원이었으며 현재 왕립아시아학회의 회원이기도 하다. 맥밀란 출판사와 <타임즈>의 편집자를 거쳐 2007년부터 전업 작가와 기자로 활동하고 있으며 뉴욕 타임즈를 비롯해 과학저널 <네이처Nature>, <뉴 사이언티스트New Scientist> 등 여러 신문과 잡지에 글을 쓰고 있다. 《아인슈타인: 상대성 이론의 100년》, 토머스 영의 전기 《모든 것을 알았던 마지막 사람》 등 과학자와 예술가에 관한 수십 권의 전기를 썼다.
