저자소개
피에르 폰 마이스(지은이)
1938년 취리히에서 태어났다. 1962년 EPUL에서 건축 디프롬을 받았고, 그 후로 7년 동안 로마, 런던, 로테르담, 제네바 그리고 미국을 옮겨다니며 건축실무를 익혔다. 1968~1970년에 코텔대학에서 교수로 있으면서 콜린 로우와 O. 웅거스와 교류하였다. 1970년 이후 로잔연방공대(EPFL)에서 건축 프로젝트와 이론 분야를 담당하는 교수로 재직 중이다.
