제럴드 M. 와인버그(지은이)
IBM에서 머큐리 프로젝트 운영 시스템 개발 관리자로 일했다. 이후 반세기 가까이 기술과 인간의 상호 작용에 주력하며 컨설턴트이자 저술가로 활동했다. 40여 권의 책을 집필했고 그중 《프로그래밍 심리학》은 소프트웨어 공학을 인간 행동과 관련해 연구한 역작으로 평가받는다. 그 외 주요 저작으로는 《대체 뭐가 문제야?》, 《테크니컬 리더》, 《Introduction to General Systems Thinking》 등이 있다. 오랜 투병 끝에 2018년 세상을 떠났다.
