Steen Eiler Rasmussen was Professor of Architecture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and Visiting Professor at M.I.T., Yale, Pennsylvania, and the University of California, Berkeley, and lectured widely at universities in Europe and the United States. S. E. 라스무센(지은이)
1898년에 태어났다. 덴마크 왕립미술학교에서 건축을 전공하고, 1924년부터 1968년까지 도시계획과 교수로 재직하면서, 다양한 연구와 디자인 작업을 했다. 영국 AA School과 미국의 MIT, 예일, 필라델피아, U.C 버클리 등 많은 대학의 객원교수로 지냈으며, 미술과 연극 등의 예술 분야, 수필, 여행기 등 다방면의 저술활동을 펼쳤다. 1990년 생을 마쳤다.
