찰스 E. 드럼(엮은이)
오리건 보건과학대학교(OHSU) 공중보건 및 예방의학과 교수로 재직하며 이 책을 펴냈다. 드럼 교수는 오리건 보건과학대학교 아동발달재활센터 공중 보건?지역사회활동?정책 부문 부센터장 및 오리건 발달장애연구소 접근성 센터의 창립 센터장을 역임했다. 국립아동보건?인간개발연구소에서 두 차례 국가연구자상, 국립장애재활연구소 메리 스위처 신진 연구자 펠로십(Mary Switzer Merit Fellowship), 오리건 보건과학대학교 우수 교수상을 수상한 바 있다. 또한 미국 공중보건국 건강격차 및 발달장애 태스크포스, 질병관리예방센터의 국민건강 2010(Healthy People 2010) 장애인 건강 분과 및 공중보건협회 장애 분과에서 위원으로 활동했다. 1985년부터 장애와 건강 프로그램, 서비스, 정책 등 다양한 측면을 조사하는 여러 프로젝트에 참여했고 장애에 대한 논문, 서적, 연수 프로그램 등 많은 자료를 출간했다.
