저자소개
Kate Nesbitt(지은이)
Yale University에서 Master of Architecture를 받았으며, 이후 New York의 Institute for Architecture and Urban Studies 및 Copenhagen University에서 공부를 계속하였다. University of Virginia, Georgia Institute of Technology 등에서 건축 디자인과 건축 이론을 가르쳤다.
최학종(옮긴이)
영남대학교에서 건축공학사를 받았으며, 이후 미국에서 Saarinen Scholarship, Gaylord and Roberta Watts Architectural Award Scholarship, Architecture Program Merit Scholarship, William Kinne Traveling Fellowship 등으로 공부하여 University of Michigan에서 Master of Architecture, Columbia niversity에서 Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design을 받았다. 공저로 <뉴욕, 런던, 서울의 도시재생 이야기>(픽셀하우스), 역서로 <MVRDV 건축읽기>(시공문화사), <건축이론 1965~1995 (I), (II)>(시공문화사) 등이 있다. AIA, LEED AP이며, ALNY, AAM, USGBC의 회원으로 활동 중이고, 현재 New York에서 Beyond Architecture를 설립, 다양한 차원에서의 건축적 시도를 모색하고 있다.
