Psychological Consultation and Consultation을 포함 40여 권 이상의 책과 100여 편 이상의 책에 부분 참여하고 저널을 출판했다. 아이오와주립대학교, 웨스트버지니아대학교, 노스캐롤라이나대학교에서 교수직을 역임했으며, 밴쿠버대학교, 드레이크대학교에서 강의를 했다. 현재는 커리어와 개인상담을 무료로 제공(Pro Bono)하고 있다. 전미커리어개발협회(NCDA)를 포함하여 여러 기관의 회장직을 역임하였고, 전미커리어개발협회의 회원이며 NCA Ella Stephens Barrett Award와 NCDA Eminent Career Award를 수상한 바 있다.
