Citizens of No Place is a collection of short stories on architecture and urbanism, graphically represented using manga-style storyboards. Fiction is used as a strategy to unpack thoughts about architecture. 히메네스 라이(지은이)
시카고 일리노이대학교 조교수이며, 뷰로 스펙터큘러(Bureau Spectacular, 그래픽 스토리를 통해 디자인 아이디어를 연구하고 실현하는 회사)의 리더로 활동하고 있다. 토론토대학교에서 건축학 석사학위를 취득하고 MOS, AVL, REX, OMA에서 근무했다. 라이의 작품은 전 세계 많은 도시에서 전시되었고, 그의 이야기와 그림들은 다양한 저널을 통해 소개되고 있다. 2012년 뉴욕건축연맹이 주관하는 ‘젊은건축가상(Architectural League Prize for Young Architects)’를 수상했다. www.bureau-spectacular.net
