저자소개
베선 로버츠(지은이)
영국 애빙던에서 태어났다. 2006년 ‘올리브 쿡 단편소설상’을 수상하며 작품 활동을 시작했고, 2007년에 출간한 첫 장편소설 『The Pools』로 ‘저우드/아번 젊은작가상’을 수상했다. 미술 수집가 페기 구겐하임의 삶을 소설화한 『The Good Plain Cook』, 가수 엘비스 프레슬리와 그의 어머니의 삶을 그린 『Graceland』 등 총 다섯 편의 장편소설을 발표했으며, 런던 대학 골드스미스 칼리지와 치체스터 대학에서 문예창작을 가르쳤다. 현재는 가족과 함께 브라이턴에서 살고 있다.
