스티븐 하이네(지은이)
브리티시컬럼비아대학교 문화심리학 교수이며 이 분야에서 가장 널리 쓰이는 대학 교과서인 문화심리학의 저자다. 2016년 캐나다 왕립학회 회원으로 선정된 바 있다. 저자가 운영하는 브리티시컬럼비아대학교(밴쿠버) 산하 ‘Culture and Self Lab’은 문화심리학과 의미유지 이론, 유전적 본질주의 등의 연구 프로그램을 진행하고 있다. 특히 인간 조건에 대한 유전적 해석의 사회적 관점을 중점 연구한다. 저서로 문화심리학Cultural Psychology(2008, 2012, 2016), 심리과학Psychological Science(2007, 2010), 진화와 문화 그리고 인간의 마음Evolution, culture, and the human mind(2009) 등이 있다.
