책소개
This book collects seventeen papers by American and Korean scholars on Korea's political, social, and economic development. Recognized American authorities on Korea are well-represented in this collection: Robert A. Scalapino, Ralph Clough and William H. Gleysteen, Jr. An equally distinguished Korean contingent joins in with Professor Lhee Ho-jeh, Professor Hong Sung-chick and Professor Kang Joo-sang on. With an upcoming election, worldwide attention is now focused on Korea.
