저자소개

양승진(지은이)

《코리아헤럴드》 선임기자로 일하고 있다. 《코리아타임스》 기자, 로이터통신 서울특파원 역임. 서강대학교에서 영문학을 전공했다. 영어를 배우며 체득한 공부 기술을 활용해 직장 생활 틈틈이 일본어와 중국어를 공부했고 JLPT 일본어능력시험 1급, 신HSK(한어수평고시) 6급에 합격했다. 기자 생활 10년이 넘자 학교에서 배운 지식의 유효 기간이 끝났다는 생각이 들었다. 지적 갈증을 풀고 싶어 대학원에 입학했다. 숙명여자대학교 테솔(TESOL) 영어교수법 석사과정에 들어가 외국어 습득 이론과 방법론을 배웠다. 그로부터 10년, 다시 공부할 때라 판단하고 카이스트(KAIST) 문술미래전략대학원 과학저널리즘 석사과정을 밟았다. 현재는 한국학중앙연구원 인문정보학 박사과정에 재학 중이다. 저서로 『영자신문을 활용한 영어학습법 ENIE』, 『뉴스 잉글리시 파워딕』(공저), 『정보의 달인』(공저), 『Click into the Hermit Kingdom』이 있다. 홈페이지: www.sungjinyang.com
