크리스토퍼 마틴(지은이)
뉴펀들랜드 메모리얼 대학교 의학부 연구자이며 동 대학 교육학부 및 영어학과 강사이기도 하다. 영국 런던 대학교 교육연구소에서 교육철학 박사학위를 받았으며, 주된 관심 주제는 교육윤리, 정치적 기초 등이다. 주요 저서로는 『오늘날 피터스 읽기』(S. E. Cuypers와의 공편저, 2011)등이 있으며, 그의 주요 논문들은 Journal of Philosophy of Education과 Educational Theory에 실려 있다. 『도덕적 개념으로서 교육』을 곧 출간할 예정이다.
