'파이저 제약회사'의 주임연구원을 지냈고, 제약연구 및 제조 협회에서 평생 공로상을 수상했다. 미국 통계학 협회 회원으로 코네티컷 칼리지, 하버드 공중 보건 대학, 로드아일랜드 칼리지, 트리니티 칼리지, 코네티컷 대학, 펜실베이니아 대학에서 통계학을 강의했다. 통계학과 관련된 3권의 저서가 있으며 50여편의 논문을 발표했다.
