The book presents comprehensive coverage of data processing and systems analysis as applied to business activities. It emphasizes practical aspects, issues and methods. This edition covers decision support systems in greater detail and includes a new section of HCI (Human Computer Interaction). New technology is covered (ie. Windows NT) and there is greater coverage of the newer programming languages such as C++. The glossary and bibliography have been revised and updated and new exercises have been taken from the 1992 professional papers. Also, the case study has been revised and extended and the text will have a teacher's manual - with solutions to exercises.
