존 어데어(지은이)
리더십 분야에서 세계적으로 권위를 인정받고 있다. 2009년에 국제연합(UN)은 저자를 이탈리아 토리노에 있는 국제연합 중앙대학(UN System Staff College)의 리더십 강의 주임 교수로 임명했다. 또한 2006년에 저자는 중국 정부로부터 ‘리더십 분야에서의 공헌과 연구업적’을 인정받아 리더십학 명예교수 직을 수여받았다. 이에 앞서 저자는 1979년에 영국의 서레이 대학(University of Surrey)에서 세계 최초로 리더십학 교수로 임명되었다. 저자는 캠브리지 대학과 옥스퍼드 대학에서 문학석사, 런던 대학에서 철학박사 학위를 받았다. 현재 영국 왕립역사학회 특별회원이다. 저서로는 『Effetive Leadership Masterclass』『Effective Team Building』『How to Grow Leaders』『The Art of Creative Thinking』『Not Bosses But Leaders』 외 30여권이 있다.
