열정으로 가득 찬 여전사 유형의 작가이자 스토리 컨설턴트, 라이프 코치이다. 캘리포니아 주립대학교에서 영화를 공부했고, 로욜라 메리마운트 대학교에서 영화 시나리오 작법을 전공하여 석사학위를 받았다. 이후 여러 편의 영화와 두 편의 텔레비전 시리즈의 원작 시나리오를 쓰며 작가로서의 경력을 인정받았다. 작가 생활을 병행하면서 미시간 대학교에서 영성과 라이프코칭으로 박사학위를 받고 캘리포니아 코스트 대학교 심리학과에서 박사후과정을 마쳤다. 벨리댄스와 요가부터 쿵후, 마샬아츠, 신화학, 심지어 양자물리학까지 넘보지 않는 분야가 없을 정도로 다양한 분야에 관심을 갖고 배우고 있다.
