폴 와츠라위크(지은이)

오스트리아 출생의 철학박사이자 심리학 교수. 1960년부터 미국 캘리포니아에 있는 팔로 알토 정신연구소에서 수석연구원으로 일했으며, 1976년부터 스탠포드 대학 의료센터에서 정신의학과 행동과학 분야의 임상교수로 활동하였다. 지은 책으로 <변화: 문제의 발생과 해결의 원칙>(Change: Principles of Problem Resolution), <대화의 어용론: 상호적인 모형, 병리와 역설에 관한 연구>(Pragramatics of Human Communication: A Study of Interactional Patterns, Patboligics, and Paradoxes) 등이 있다.
