케이스 프라트(지은이)
1967년 미국 공군 컴퓨터 시스템 기술자로 직장 생활을 시작했다. 프라트는 컴퓨터 시스템 유지보수 책임자, 병참 지원단장, 통신단장, 보안통신단장과 같은 여러 직위를 거쳤다. 공군 제대 이후, 프라트는 학적 담당관 및 강사(차터 대학), 학과장(채프먼 대학), 연수 교사 겸 컨설턴트(더 그로우스 컴퍼니)를 거쳤다. 경력으로는 웨일랜드 침례교 신학 대학교와 알라스카 대학교 부교수로 재직하면서 프라트는 통신, 경영, 관리, 조직 이론, 컴퓨터 기술을 가르쳤으며, 현재는 캔자스 주 오타와 대학교의 본교와 해외 분교에서 국제학 프로그램 담당 부교수이자 경영정보시스템 프로그램 담당 교수이다. 학력은 웨일랜드 신학 대학교에서 경영학과 컴퓨터 시스템 공학을 전공했고, 채프먼 대학교에서 인력 관리 석사학위를 취득했고, 필딩 대학교에서 조직 개발 석사학위, 인간 조직 체계 박사학위를 취득했고, 모스크바 주립대학교에서 명예 과학박사 학위를 받았다.
