저자소개

판카즈 게마와트(지은이)

하버드대학에서 학부를 졸업하고 동 대학에서 경영경제학 박사학위를 받았다. 졸업 후 맥킨지앤컴퍼니에 근무를 한 후 하버드 경영대학에서 전임교수로서 25년간 재직했다. 하버드 경영대학에서 1991년에 정년보장을 받았는데, 이는 이 대학의 역사상 가장 젊은 나이에 정년보장을 받은 기록이었다. 2006년부터 바르셀로나 IESE 경영대학에서 글로벌전략 분야의 Anselmo Rubiralta 석좌교수로서 재직하고 있다. 우수 경영저술상을 받은 『Redefining Global Strategy』를 출판하였으며, 다른 저서로서 『World 3.0』, 『Commitment』, 『Games Businesses Play』 등이 있다. 게마와트는 최근 『Harvard Business Review』에 게재한 논문 "Regional Strategies for Global Leadership"의 공헌을 인정받아 맥킨지 우수논문상을 수상하였고, IESE-Eundacion BBVA가 수여하는 우수 연구자상을 수상했다. 저자에 대한 보다 상세한 정보는 www.ghemawat.org에 게시되어 있다.
