John J. Wild(지은이)

위스콘신대학교(매디슨)의 저명한 경영학 교수이다. 전에는 미시간주립대학교와 영국 맨체스터대학교에서 직책을 맡은 바 있다. 위스콘신대학교(매디슨)에서 학사·석사·박사 학위를 취득하였다. 학부생과 대학원생들을 대상으로 경영학 강의를 하는 동안 2003년 Mabel W. Chipman 우수강의상, 2005년 위스콘신대학교 우수강의상, 미시간주립대학교 우수강의상 등을 포함한 여러 교육/강의상을 수상하였다. 또한 미국 KPMG Peat Marwick과 언스트&영 재단으로부터 국가 연구 장학금을 받았다. 그는 여러 대학과 국제 컨퍼런스에서 발표자로서 활발히 활동하였다. 5편의 베스트셀러 교과서와 60편 이상의 학술자료 등을 저술한 그는 기업 관리 방식, 금융 시장, 재무 분석, 경영 예측 등 수많은 주제에 대해 연구하였다. 그는 국제경영학회(AIB) 등 여러 국제기관의 활발한 회원으로 활동하고 있으며, 여러 유명 저널의 부주필과 편집위원을 맡고 있다.
