마크 에드문슨(엮은이)
예일대학교 대학원에서 석사와 박사 학위를 받았으며, 현재 버니지아대학교 영문과 교수로 재직 중이다. 《프로이트 읽기(Towards Reading Freud : Self-Creation in Milton, Wordsworth, Emerson and Sigmund Freud)》를 비롯해 《철학에 저항하는 문학 : 플라톤에서 데리다까지(Literature Against Philosophy, Plato to Derrida)》 《선생 : 차이를 만드는 사람(Teacher : The One Who Made the Difference)》 《왜 읽어야 하나?(Why Read?)》 등 문학.문화 비평서를 저술했으며, '뉴 퍼블릭(New Public)' '뉴욕타임스 매거진(New York Times Magazine)' '네이션(Nation)' '하퍼스 매거진(Harper's Magazine)'에 기고하고 있다.
