Book Introduction
Comprehension instruction is widely recognized as an essential component of developing students' pleasure and profit from reading. 캐시 콜린스 블록(엮은이)
위스콘신-매디슨대학에서 박사학위를 받았으며, 노트르담대학에서 객원교수로 재직했다. 2007년 현재 텍사스주 포트워스에 소재한 텍사스크리스천대학 교수로 재직 중이며, 국가연구기관인 '사고력 향상을 위한 미 교과과정 연구위원회' 의장이기도 하다. <사고법 가르치기: 21세기를 위한 의제 Teaching Thinking: An Agenda for the Twenty-First Century>를 비롯해 17권의 책을 저술했고, '스탠퍼드학력테스트' 시리즈 개발에 참여했다.
